The A50 was fully DirectX 6.0 and OpenGL-compatible under Windows 95/98.

This card supported MPEG-1 (Video-CD) hardware acceleration, and DirectX 5. The core clock ran at 100 MHz and had a memory bandwidth of 800 MB/second.
