The PEGA 2A chipset, also known as the "Paradise Autoswitch EGA 480", was an EGA chipset housed in an 84-pin PLCC. It included all of PEGA 1A's capabilities but added 640 x 480 EGA, 132-column text mode (in both 25 and 43 line modes), locking registers, and a 30 MHz maximum dot clock.
The included Autoswitch EGA 480 utility, PEGA.EXE, allowed you to override the switches and lock the board into autoswitch mode or any other available mode.
