Delphi

Delphi was Borland's successor to Turbo Pascal and Borland Pascal. Launched at the Software Development Conference in San Francisco on 14th February 1995, it added a lot of new features to what came before. Delphi was written by the same author as Turbo Pascal, Anders Hejlsberg.

One of the best features was the visual editor - rather than coding you could create an application visually, and the tool would automatically keep your code in sync. Alternatively, changing the code directly would update your application in the visual editor.
