The Nitro64 was a budget 64-bit graphics accelerator that launched in 1995. It came with either 1 MB or 2 MB of EDO DRAM.

It supported resolutions up to 1024 x 768 in 65K colours on the 2 MB card, and refresh rates up to 75 Hz. The Nitro 64 used the Cirrus Logic CL-GD5434 graphics accelerator chipset. The Nitro 64 Video used the slightly later CL-GD5446.
1 MB variants could be upgraded to 2 MB via the addition of a 1 MB memory module daughterboard.
The Nitro 64 came bundled with Sierra's Earthsiege 2 game.
STB Systems sold the Nitro 64 Video to the OEM market, including Compaq and Dell.
